I would give my children Two names.
One plain and the other exotic.
When they get older they can choose to be normal or different.

hm...if I ever get such a trouble as children (I actually dislike children, but there always is a possibility of unnoticed mistake) I bet i will give them short names. Its such a pain to have a long one. I love my short name, no stupid nicknames and so on, just my name :)

What is your name anyway harpy? Mine is Tyler (TiYlER, get it? lol) I like plain american names like Marisa or Allison or Diego. Names like that.

I have a nice short one - Līva :) Proper for where I live and I guess others also know how to use this one.
Well I do go by harpy IRL as well. Even people who know me by my name first mostly start to call me harpy after fining out about me being harpy :d Well ok first I got nicnamed harpy IRL :D
