... and a lot of things sound nice and could inspire you to use them as a name, if you don't know what they mean. I mean, Belladonna sounds nice, or how about Salmonella for a girl name  ;D

While Amalgam definitely sounds better than Alloy, I'd rather not be called after a mixture of metals... It reminds me of the names the gypsies around here give to their kids... Like [The] Ambulance ("Ambulanța"), Thermopane ("Termopan"), [The] Unexpected [one] ("Neașteptata"), Medallion, Paracetamol and other retarded things.
