how can a black cap protect you from sun? well part of your face..mostly eyes and that's all. One can get sun glasses and had is not heated...

White and black "protect" you from the sun just the same since sunlight isnt going through the fabric. White reflects the sunlight while black doesnt. So white protects you from heat, not sun.
