Likely? This is almost too outlandish... it's like that extras that had some random man/fat lady talking on a cell phone from the 1920s or 1930s.

I thought it was common knowledge that Hitler's Germany used 3D recordings in their propaganda films. Why wouldn't they have filmed the olympics like it too?

As for staying on topic, the concept of stereoscopy has existed since the 1800's, and it is well known that the Germans were far ahead in photographic technology in the 20's and 30's.
