Swords are technically double edged blades.
Sabres are technically single edged blades and are often curved.

A lot of options mentioned are the same things in different language, for example "Szabla" is just a polish/russian/Ukranian/other slavic country's way to say sabre. Here is the proof:

For one thing, Tiff is not on any level what I would call a typical American.  She's not what I would consider a typical person.  I don't know any other genius geneticist anime-fan martial artist marksman model-level beauties, do you?

Eh, there are knives in there too.
And daggers.

Plus bastard sword isn't technically a single sword per se, it's just a sword class, like two handed swords and so forth.

Rapier and Sabre.

Because we can!

Voted Katarra and pistol sword because they're awesome. Craftsmanship to the max. Although I'd've liked to vote up the Falchion and the Katana too

All done, i went through everything.

My choice : Katana and Nodachi (i mistakenly selected kodachi(shorter short) which is the opposite of nodachi (ridiculously long), any way to change it?)
Well my fav are still the same from long back, its just that i didn't know the names that's all. And besides i was fascinated by katana (and nodachi) from the very beginning and that was years before i even knew about anime so it's not like anime has influenced me to choose those two swords (i'm saying cause that's what most are gonna think or gonna do).

Katana

and nodachi set :

How about pasting your fav sword's best pic you got, or the sword you would like to have. That will make this thread more interesting .

Honestly I think the first pic looks really cool Mistgun, but I'd rather have a simple set like this one

distinctly heard myself speak. If I pinch your bottom, you can slap my face, but until I do, I expect a civil word for a civil word!

Well mine were the pistol sword and the katar, so we could combine them into... A GUN KATAR
