Haaahaaaaaaaa.

They were serious when they said that they want developers to offload AI on to the cloud. Well, there you have it... developers that didn't use it and kept the AI on the client machine.

Trust me, it's one game. It proves absolutely nothing. I am thankful I was *smart* and went with a PS4 preorder, but one game does not make or break a console. However, this is a black eye for microsoft seeing as how they poured so much money into exclusive deals with EA and Activision.

Turns out... Battlefield 4 runs really fucking well at 900p @ 60 FPS on the PS4 while there is a review and video embargo on the X1 version (which only runs at 720p @ 60 fps). CoD: Ghosts will be full 1080p on PS4 while it is 720p on X1... so much for that?

In either case... Killzone Shadow Fall looks fucking amazing...  ;D

well microsoft is building a console for everyone not just gamers ... lol

Well, what does CoD: Ghosts have that BF4 doesn't already do better? So no to CoD this year. Battlefield 4 on the other hand... will be bought on PS4. I have had enough of origins. Waiting 2 extra weeks to play Battlefield 4... Origins-free... will be worth it.

That's a different case entirely. They collect all those metrics on usages of the 360. They found out that people are watching TV shows at the same lengths they are playing video games. So they figured, hey... why not make this more of an "entertainment" box instead of a console? Cool in theory for people who are going to buy an X1 in 3 years... but not for gamers who are going to be the early adopters for the next 2 years.

Appeal to the people who are gonna smack down $500 in the first couple of months. Sony did appeal to their fans, by directly addressing gamers first. It's not to say that there is a breathe of amazingly new type of games as launch titles (come on, the three titles that are worth money are all shooters with multiplayer), but Sony is trying with their indie and F2P markets.

Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen, Soul Sacrifice free on PlayStation Plus in North America in November

^For PS3 anyway; PS4 gets Housemarque’s Resogun.

XB1's Cloud Computing just sounds like buzzword bingo. Like it's just standard cloud stuff (saves, profile in the cloud), and the actual computing stuff is just theoretical potential rather than readily available practical applications.

Hoping I can add these to my account even if I don't have a PS4 to play them. Works for Vita and PSP games on a PS3, but not sure I'll be able to "buy" them if I don't have a PS4 to do it with.

Cloud gaming sounds like all hype to me.
