Thermal Armors on Motherboards

I've got the ASUS Sabertooth X58 LGA and have 0 issues with over heating.

The bored looks sexy without that stupid armor on it.

Less risk of damaging mb components when working inside the case is the reason I got it.

for me its just the looks =D it looks clean and nice plus a bonus of protection. other than that, not enough money to get one XD.

Looks cool... probably a heat MAGNET. I'll trust open air Mobos over one that's just one big heat sink.

I've just been to the ATOMIC site to see if they had a review on the MB in the OP and it came up with the one you have.

Apparently your particular MB has been 'ruggedised', which means that it is 'military spec', as tested by a third party...... or that is what it says on the Atomic web site.
