Kamisama no Memo-Chou | Notepad of God
Slysoft:
This is probably my favorite show of the summer season. This story arc is awesome can't wait to see how it unfolds (hopefully next week).
SeventyX7:
Eh.
Three problems prevent this show from being my favorite this season.
(1. Generic protagonist with no special abilities that all the AMAZING people around him think is great.
Seriously, I keep hoping Narumi gets murdered or something and the crew makes a GOOD case discovering the murderer. Then the fourth or Alice becomes the main character. Awesome series right there.
(2. All the cases are far too predicable. I'm able to guess how the case will end by the end of the first episode of the arc.
(3. Baka to Test & Penguin 8)
jaybug:
Perhaps in Japan it is considered a special ability to remain steadfast in your beliefs, against all odds. That being honest forthright and trustworthy against adversity, not succumbing to convenience or popularity is a triat to be honored and cherished. The exact opposite of what we do here in the US to such people.
I do believe anime almost always has a moral to the story. Or at least someone will exemplify that which is a laudable goal in that country. And basically these virtues are almost universal.
But that's just a guess.

Or it's just something that universally occurs in media as is occurs in comics as well.
Havoc10K:
All my predictions were correct, which made this arc closing episode so entertaining :)
