If i'm not mistaken an OVA is in the works, perhaps an S2 would come out, but seeing how S1 ended I don't know how Narumi would be connected to Alice this time as it seems he left her for the less appealing choice.
No mention of OVA or Second season was announced as of recent. But it definitely leaves a wide gap for story.

AniDB has this marked with a tragedy tag. Without spoiling it, can anyone tell me if it has a tragic ending or just some random tragic things happen along the way; e.g., random insignificant characters die or tragedy is used as a catalyst to get the story moving in the beginning?

I really don't feel like watching another show with a sad ending.

Kids who try to be something ... and end up being something, but they're not everything. It's a pretty cool show. That room with two air conditioners and lots of computers is my favorite place.

I think I will give it a shot then.

I am already loving the artwork.

It's not necessarily tragic throughout or anything, but there definitely are some fairly tragic elements to the series. It's definitely worth a watch.
