Maybe you guys can throw good to decent ones that are not so hard to find. I'm from Canada, btw.

Unibroue is an excellent Canadian brewery.  If I can go to pretty much any decent grocery in Houston and find a few of their beers, you should be able to do the same.  Try Don de Dieu.

ive only tried one of their beers and it was pretty tasty

Unibroue is from my province. Quebec is known for its many small brewery. The SAQ has a legally enforced monopoly on every alcoholic beverage except beer, so if you want to make alcohol but you don't want to deal with state interference, you have gotta make beer.

Just go down your local off-license, pick out a selection of different bottles which look good, and try them. Some you'll like, some you won't, but it's the best way to find new beers which are both nice, and easy to obtain locally. That's how I found pretty much all my favourites.

I would strongly recommend Boddington's Pub Ale.  Also Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA if you are a fan of IPAs.  I know a lot of people don't like the flavor of IPAs, but I tend to enjoy them  ;D
