Stay with only one video card.

You also could have added a ~$90 cooler from Thermalright and it'd still be under 2k.

Since you have to spend all of that 4k - buy a Dell u3011, new mechanical keyboard, pair of headphones, headphone amplifier, and a DAC.

think this way, he has three 2560x1600 monitors up.
he wants to play at 16xAA and 16xAF at extreme settings.
he wants to pop his eyes with beauty and magnificence.
he wants no less than 60FPS.

makes more sense to waste a ton of cash right?

Fine, I'll lessen the tone of my comment.

But seriously, you've made your decision now. But like most of us are saying, 2 computers is likely far better than just getting 1. In the situation where you really must run a $4000 bill on a computer, well. Build your own and don't go prebuilt. And/or, spend a shitload of money on computer accessories.

Three 30" monitors would cost at least $2,500 and that's if you manged to find them used for $700 each - assuming they're 3007s.  Realistically, you're not going to find three of those for that price.

Go ahead and Crossfire multiple cards if you're feeling like putting on 16x AA which is ridiculous, but okay.  People play console games with ZERO AA and yet they don't complain.  I find that insane but anything over 4x I wouldn't notice too much.

bah, i myself am fine running crysis on a HD6670 at 1080p, set to med-low hybrid custom for a stable 40fps.

its just the people's tastes, if they can take lowish quality at decent screen size then sure, even an onboard would work.

I just realized; I can use my old case, can't I?

Parts ordered:

16 GB ram

2x 2TB HDD

GTX 590

P67 mobo

Should I go with 1000 watt or 1200 watt?

Can 1000 watts handle a second GTX 590?
