Xbox One's still-in-beta dashboard

Although there is one really interesting thing about all of this. We get to see one of the biggest companies in the world just utterly fail on every front, Normally a couple of stumbles is to be expected but this is insane. So I find it interesting to see how it all gets handled due to the fact the have copious amounts of money to keep this festival of fails alive.

The interface is not that much different then the 360 interface.

They've supposedly banished ads from the home page as a policy. I know it doesn't bother some people, but far too much of the 360 interface is dedicated to selling me something or trying to get me to watch some sort of product placement.

Im one of the people doesnt bother much. I had to go turn it on to see what adds there were. usually i just turn it on and start hitting A to load my game dont really see the dashboard all that much.

It was probably clocked low to start, and only stepped up when the hype about the PS4's power became too much that they had to do something to seem more competitive. The system itself is supposed to be better about cooling, and they've got the ability to curtail performance when the unit is at risk of overheating.
