Wouldn't it be easier to just get your self flagellation done by just whipping yourself in the groin using a leather Cat o' nine tails with little metal spikes at the end?
At the very least cheaper.

They've supposedly banished ads from the home page as a policy. I know it doesn't bother some people, but far too much of the 360 interface is dedicated to selling me something or trying to get me to watch some sort of product placement.

Im one of the people doesnt bother much. I had to go turn it on to see what adds there were. usually i just turn it on and start hitting A to load my game dont really see the dashboard all that much.
