What ? No reason ? Do you have mental problems ?
1.You need to be connected to internet .
2.No used games
3.TV
Why would I want to watch tv on xbox ? It's just one click on my tv remote to get from game to tv channel FFS
Since I always uploading something I play SP games on my console since most often I get connetion timeout from server if I try to connet to PSN (since I'm uploading)
Now my PS3 is at friends house and it's not conneted to the internet since we only play 1vs1 Mortal Combat

Good luck with Xbox One ... and to anyone who wants to purchase it. Let us hope Microsoft does the right choice and reverses those retarded features.

What feature dont you like and why everyone just says I hate that I hate that with no reason. And explain if you are a person that unplugs there xbox after each use. or just thought of not being able to unplug is what gets you.

New Report. It's not a rumor. Enjoy.
You haven't been following this thread, have you? Because you wouldn't ask this question in the first place.

I think halfelite is looking at the brighter side of potential suffering.
True there aren't as many positives as there are negatives right now but that's all perspective. I completely agree that the no used games is pretty low of Microsoft but they're just making it closer to PC than we'd all like with the limited licenses. Sucks it's only one license per console. If it was three-five it would be more reasonable but I understand that it's business.
I don't mind the "always on" as in most likely it will be like "It's going to be connected to the internet so you can get constant updates with stuff already on your smartphone or PC." I don't think it's as bad as we're probably making it.
The Kinect issue is troubling but it will be interesting to see what it adds to the table if anything at all. Exciting ideas have already been passed around and it's going to be a matter of what the Kinect will actually be doing.
The TV thing is iffy. Most people have some sort of cable or satellite provider so unless Microsoft is including this as a free service with Gold membership or a Platinum Disco Membership this is a terrible idea. I think it's safe to say though that the Xbox One isn't a gaming console but rather an entertainment hub. The only true gaming console imo is the WiiU but that's a whole other point.
I have high hopes for these consoles because I don't want to lose hope that one company will get it right.
AceHigh:
The only consoles I have hope for are handheld at this point. No need for a paperweight that has shitty specs compared to PC. Might as well get myself a handheld console with great specs for it's size instead.

The tv through another interface is actually a hot item right now google tv has been trying it for a year. And im sure as soon as apple comes out with a tv they will try the same thing. Its not just about watching tv through the xbox.
Think of it like how many times have you sat watching something and think I wonder what else they have been in. with tv going through the xbox it gives you the options to put your movie in a smaller screen or bring up an overlay to do other stuff on top of your movies. Now Im not sure this is the direction MS will take it but I hope they have an option like this it has a lot of real world uses. I think some people are just to closed minded for this and they think big whoop I can watch tv through the xbox nothing new I can just change sources to my dvr and watch tv. Now im not saying MS will make something useful out of this but there are a lot of possibilities The 10 foot UI scene is huge and expanding rapidly.
You say you dont play multiplayer but is your current system always connected to your network even while uploading? or are you saying you never plug it in at all? As you mention you friend does not have an always on connection but you do at home so again that option would not effect you since you had your ps3 plugged in.
Again used games I could see how that effects some i was never a used game buyer in the first place so for me its no big deal but I see that effect it could have.
