I'm getting annoyed with these X-Box One apologists saying things on the lines of "Well, Sony may be doing the same thing too (with used games and the eye), and probably are, so nyeh!" I suppose the point is that you should just shut up and accept things, but I wouldn't buy either system if they did (I have no reason to suggest Sony will, at this point, other than certain people's malicious desires).

As much as this seems to be framed as a console war, it's more of a fight for relevancy with PCs. A fight both consoles could easily lose, at least to me and my money. Nintendo too if they can't turn things around after E3.

the fight against PC is especially relevant for xbox since they are trying to push it into the field of home entertainment system instead of videogame system.

As that line gets pushed you start saying hey why not just spend 400$ on a computer and plug it into my tv
