Obviously you're a common if you're horse isn't carrying another 150lbs of armor.....

Hated using horses in that game, I ran so much faster than them anyways.

Sad thing is Bethesda does pretty good DLC now, but that shit set the tone for the lacklustre content which would follow throughout the market for years. I'm all like, cynical and stuff now.

Word up.

At this point I'm just glad I have a PC that can play Skyrim on high.
Now my horses are immortal, because their retarded ass A.I. just isn't worth putting up with.

I would argue Eastern developers really set the tone. Capcom's on-disc DLC. The insane amount of costumes later repeated by all manner of games (from MMOs to fighting games to RPGs.)

Eastern fighting games with half their line up as DLC. Eastern MMOs were usually more grindy than their Western equivalents anyway, but they really set off the cash shop concept. Then they brought the model to JRPGs. Nothing like buying end game in DLC form.

Horse Armor in turn looks awfully quaint. It was overpriced, but at least it wasn't already there to begin with, and completely skippable. I'd rather all superfluous DLC be so benign.

Yeah, that was a really stupid move.
