Swedish VS English - School Project

iSoS:
Not trying to be a total douche, but a better project would be to compare the nordic languages.

I for one, really really love danish dubs. You guessed it. I am indeed a dane.

Also, Lion King because there's no better cartoon created to date. :3

Danish: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zs0Q6Zd5EXs
Swedish: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QQeFQ8QUIQg
Norwegian: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ofDDosPUYek

English for reference: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vX07j9SDFcc

edit: Also, funny random fact: Tried to play the swedish and danish synchronously. It seems the swedish version has a faster tempo than the danish. Eh? /edit

I'd even go as far as saying the danish and swedish version are far superior to the original.
But I guess you'll always love the sound you grew up with.

New western cartoons, and their dubs, are utter bullocks.

Nordic dubs seems to be of better quality than most other though.

My vote for your question: Swedish:

eggman:
Yeah, the Nordic languages would indeed be a "Better" choice as they ar similar and easier to compare:)
But the idea behind this was that i for example, think that the English dubbers got no feeling when doing their work, not all the time of course but often, but that is what i think.
Check out Bonkers to see a big difference in sense:)

Maybe we can use this in our project later on, will take it as a suggestion:)!

Sosseres:
Sorry, can't help you. Don't want a google account. The ones I listened to I liked the English ones the most on though.

Did you pick biased samples or did you pick random parts of series?

eggman:
I picked places where i thought you could hear a good difference at some, others a random:)

MoonFace:
ehh XD no we are not the same person XD!
