the novel is a little, uh, long. and needs MASSIVE fixes.
i am actually surprised that there is that much interest in poetry. i would never have thought to try something like an epic poem...curious.
TiYler, if you post stuff i will try to give some feedback.

Hmmm.
I'm kinda interested. I may go and have a look, possibly read the novel, despite not really liking to read novels on-line.
I prefer to have a book in my hands when I'm reading a story.

you can only guess how much i wish i had a hard copy to direct you towards. baby steps...

Well, I've just printed it all out, so I do have a 'hard copy' of it, not quite a book, but better than reading it off of a screen.
15 A4 pages isn't too bad.
Don't worry about it being too long, look at LoTR for goodness sake.
Also, I own almost every "Disc World" (by Terry Pratchett) novel there is and those average between 380-400 odd pages a book.
Edit: I read what you have so far and..... there had better be more where that came from.
Not too many spelling mistakes, just the odd one or two.
It's obvious that you have done some research on the various temples and such like, the descriptions read pretty well and match up pretty closely with what I have seen in various anime I have watched.
Love the background stories of Ezra and Yun and the fact that not all of Ezra's encounters are violent.
Keep going the way you are and I reckon you could have you could have yourself a pretty good book.
Also, time sort of 'vanished' while I was reading your novel and that is a good sign as far as I am concerned, it means I was enjoying myself and that is a big thing.

thanks for the encouragement!
yeah, there is more, including "back chapters" that will fill in some more of Ezra and Yun's backgrounds.
it's funny, i actually just went to the Inari shrine two days ago and found i need to change a few things. hehe, oops! But it does help having done quite a bit of research on religion.
BlackPages:
I write fanfiction too, though my fandom is HellBoy(movie verse) and not pertaining to the anime world. Used to write original prose, some stuff got published (nothing major, really), but somehow couldn't get in touch with my muse anymore. My current one likes Prince Nuada only *sigh*
So yeah, I'm up for chatting with other writers, particularly if you have a fanfiction.net account, cause I'm there more often.

complete with bad grammar and gratuitous use of difficult sounding words.
EDIT: so who wants a fanfic contest for bonus points in the tracker?

I'm up for it. I'm currently working on the third story for my zombie apocalypse novel. Twill be EPIC!
