OOH OOH! I do I do! When the blog forum was open for posts I posted two of my Zombie Apocalypse stories there. I'm working on the third right now.
Here's one of the poems I've written (that I could find)

If once more I could feel as if the world did not matter, only the space between us;
If the hour glass could turn to times more pleasant;
to when my days seemed so full, I would be content;
If once more I could share with you the sun's fury and the moon's radiance;
to be bathed with you in the twilight of the stars;
Oh to feel all those once more;
If only it were real, that magic could entrance our hearts once again;
to be intertwined, you in me, and I in you;
To feel the beat of the heart as one, and with one mind be connected;
Then once more I would be whole, and the void be abandoned;
To be in love so true, that reaches the stars above;
To feel the warmth of an embrace or tender kiss upon my lips again;
to feel the joy that makes my heart sing a song that hasn't yet been written;
To be in love once more, to be showered in that eternal bliss;
To have all these, I would die in peace; to live for you, and give once more my love; if all could be so, if i could love you and you love me, once more

Looks like I should troll out of politics more often. I, too, write but all of my work is too long for message boards. I have one completed manuscript that's being agented around and a short story under review with a publishing house that's interested in the full story. To elaborate, the short story is really an excerpt of sorts from a much larger fantasy I've been working on for a year or so. They've also got a plan for a joint series that I'm mulling over depending on the level of creative control.
If anybody has questions about how the whole "publishing" thing goes, let me know. I've been around the block and I'd be happy to give out tips, tricks, and locations. However, please don't ask me to send stuff to my agent - it makes everything uncomfortable and she won't appreciate it. I'm more than happy to show you the way to help yourself, though.
***EDIT*** I forgot to mention I did start a little blog for basic writing tips that's in my signature. Nothing really special but I add to it every Monday and Friday.

I've considered it for the past couple of years but always decide against it. While I appreciate what it's trying to do I believe what it's actually doing is something totally different. Good luck with it, though!
