i tried it and uninstalled it 5 minutes later. Way to many shitty things to bind and it was being an asshole about letting me change mouse button binds.

Oh no, that map is totally just a tunnel to funnel all the combat down 3 main lanes... It's so CoD... but remember. It's a smart choice to choose that map for a free beta. Why? Cause there are 8 other maps that will be wide open and with vehicles (Caspian Border anyones?) or at least a variation of open vehicle maps and close quarter infantry maps. Remember Special Forces? That focused on CQC combat...
All I'm saying is, EA is playing their cards right because this map will tempt people who play CoD into getting Battlefield 3 instead (or as well). The beta isn't meant for hardcore BF3 fans (cause even I was left desiring more from the map) because that map is not Battlefield. It's rush mode alright... but it's no battlefield. With the Beta, they will lure all the CoD players who would of otherwise skipped the game because its "Not Cod."
And before you get all mad about CoD players on BF3... suck it up... they'll be easy targets until they /ragequit when running towards the objectives without using cover. They'll either have to learn how to play the game... and then realize it's more fun than running and gunning, or they'll just complain that their entire team is camping. :P I'm having tons of fun on Metro... but at least I know there will be more maps that really scratch my Battlefield itch.

What were you trying to change? I also had a problem with this but all I had to do to fix it was go back to the game and then press Esc again and then I could change the bindings. You must also remember that this is a beta is it does have some bugs.
One bug in particular that keeps popping up is I keep clipping the ground when I'm moving somewhere prone (I'm usually support gunner). I wonder if people can still see me if I clip fully through. :P

Gonna try it a bit later, am hoping that this tempts me to hop boats as what TMRNetShark says it's for.

Im having a blast with the Beta i cant wait for the full game. No issues with the game what so ever. (Im not talking about the bugs but my opinion on the game)

They really made this beta restrictive. You have to start the game from the browser, which will plunge you right into a match, no option for the resolution, key binding, etc...
