I dont move my left hand much at all, the only real inconvenience is having to have my keyboard all way to one side.
For a reference on how much reach i get i can put my thumb on the right arrow key and keep it depressed and almost reach Lalt

mah hands are bigger! I can press both them keys at once! ^_^

It's all just a comfort thing though.  I might have to try this interesting keybind setup :P

Unless your on a netbook... you need to be a giant to have big enough hands to have some fingers on the WASD AND still be able to reach the delete key. I smell something fishy here.

EDIT: I'm kidding... if you actually have that large of hands... then all the power to you if that's comfortable. :P

i said i used arrows retard
yea i had to disable no script globaly to actually get the piece of shit game to load. Even with the site given full access it would fucking work.

Annoying bullshit with the full screen. And it wouldnt let me fucking change my mouse binds. I play with a retardedly non standard config for my keys

Arrows
Del = reload
end/page down = right and left lean
Rshift = steady scope/sprint
/ = nade
. = special nade
rctrl = jump
ralt = crouch
space = prone
right click for shoot
left click = use/interact with enviro button
scroll wheel click = zoom
scrolling = weapons
thumb bumper 1 = melee
0 on  numpad = talk on vent

i cant use this shit because the fucks wont let me set up my mouse properly

o yea and i was in top competition in call of duty games back when i played so my retard config works wonders for me

PS - i quoted you before you edited

Arrows based controls? reminds me of quake 1 and 2 days.
For one thing, Tiff is not on any level what I would call a typical American.  She's not what I would consider a typical person.  I don't know any other genius geneticist anime-fan martial artist marksman model-level beauties, do you?

When did they start using WASD based controls as default on games anyway?

Farthest game back I can think of is Half Life... Cause Quake 3 Arena had WASD too, right?

That's possible.  Got bored today at work and checked out some of the keyboards.

Could hit both buttons on all of the keyboards except the ergonomic microsoft one that's all split up down the middle.  I don't have a tape measure or ruler around to check though :P

For every who believed the Battlefield 3 beta didn't feature a real Battlefield map (which I would agree... infantry combat =/= true Battlefield which is why I uninstalled it until the full game release because of the hackers)... REJOICE!

Caspian Border servers open up back again.

Now I don't know if it's just the same 2 servers they had earlier in the Beta or allowing any or all servers to have that map. I don't feel like waiting for an hour to try and get on a server that 10,000 other people are trying to get on one of those slots of 2 64 player servers. :P

I actually just read on Battlelog that it will be open to everyone... so I'm assuming more than 2 servers. BTW, this is PC only. :P

I loled at the top comment on that article.

By the way, for the last pages I have been ranting about lack of menu and the whole ghetto style browser thing. However with my new CPU I have tested it on max graphics and now here are some things about game-play itself:

1. Mini map is shit.
Honestly a half transparent blue digital map that has horrible contrast with the background and is pretty much useless the way it is now. I would like a coloured map with high contrast of the landscape so that details like mountains, buildings, rivers, etc are seen clearly from the first glance.

2. BF2 had an awesome commander and squad management interface. While a commander is a controversial thing and maybe it's ok that BF3 got rid of them, I still think that squad management was good and it would be nice to see it in BF3.

3. Flashlight/laser is turned off by default when you spawn. That way it will force people to learn how to turn them on and off so that they don't run around with them turned on all the time and blinding team mates.

Now for the things that they did right:

1. Merge classes. Honestly most people medic over assault just for the self heal in BF2 and they choice between engineer and Anti-tank was always a hard one. Now with the huge amount of kits we have more roles than we could ever wish for and yet still packed in 4 classes.

2. Bipod. Probably the most awesome thing the support was ever given. I don't like run and gun style, so on metro I played support more than any other class.
For one thing, Tiff is not on any level what I would call a typical American.  She's not what I would consider a typical person.  I don't know any other genius geneticist anime-fan martial artist marksman model-level beauties, do you?

Any Assault rifle/sniper rifle can also unlock Bipods. It's especially useful with the SV98 because it makes for easier head shots. :P

I agree though, bipods make the support class so much more fun about where your placement will be to cover a lane.

Im tired of these call of duty Pu**ys playing the beta. I killed a guy who armed the m-com but ended up getting killed, watched the guy that killed me get killed and my teammate(if you wanna call him that) just looks at the m-com while its armed does nothing and it blows up. Im sick of these retards who dont know how to play the game.

Rush/bomb is actually a pretty new mode. I mean I can't recall many games prior to counterstrike that has it. Which means I have only played it in four games in my entire gaming career (did delta force 1/2 have it? in that case 5). Complaining about people being from a specific game not understanding rush is a bit biased, it should definitely include a much larger pool of players. Was it even in earlier BF games (can't recall playing it in any but BC2)? Though titan mode in 2142 was kinda similar.

Isn't DICE's Rush Mode first introduced in BC2? At least there it was implemented.

I knew nothing of the outside world. I was just a frog in a well.

Bad Company one had a somewhat similar mode but Bad Company 2 has what is now in BF3. Im not a Rush mode player myself but its the only mode on the beta. I blame call of duty players because i hate call of duty players they have no skill they just spray and pray and get away with it. I watch my friend who is a CoD player and he plays BF3 like CoD and he sucks. I play BF3 like BF and i am almost always top player either in kills or score most of the time both. I try to teach him how to throw out ammo/health but you can teach a old dog new tricks. He and his CoD buddies are and will forever be CoD Fags.

It was called "Gold Rush" in the original Bad Company... but the official "Rush" game type was originally designed in 2142 with "Titan Mode". I forgot if 1943 had it or not.

1943 only had conquest.
