Then it wouldn't be a game or movie... but a simulator of real life. If you make something too realistic, you tend to not have fun with it.

Healing magic, Asgard nanobots or alien slime. Less absurd than a magical defibrillator/syringe. It's like a HK416 that shoots positron plasma balls.

Eww. A dedicated medic is what's needed. And not like the medics in BFBC
Give medic an pistol or smg so that they cannot operate like commandos.
