I mean, remove assault defibs and bring back the medic.  This is stupid.

Write a letter.

I have been posting on their forums about it.

I wish they would just make BF2 version 2

Assault with defib is better than a gren spamming assault...

I knew nothing of the outside world. I was just a frog in a well.

For all you Xbox 360 owners, time to ragggggggeee quit. :P

PS3 owners of Battlefield 3 will get the game on 1 Blu-ray disc.

Xbox 360 owners... will get Battlefield 3 on *coughsREALLYhard* 2 DVD9 discs. Source and Source.
(click to show/hide)

BWHAHAHA, Looks like the Xbox 360 has become the inferior console. This makes it the 3rd game this year to be multi-disc for Xbox 360? I knew that that DVD9 hardware would become obsolete in this console's generation. I know PC players will be like "Ah, both consoles are inferior to PC!"... well guess what, I don't care... this is a battle between the consoles and PS3 > 360. If you PC gamers want to go farther, yes... PC > PS3 > 360.  ::)

Lol, it all reality... it's probably the SP is on one disc and the MP is on the other. I just think it would be annoying if you were playing the SP part of the game and then one of your friends invites you to a party.. you gotta take the disc out, put in the MP disc, and then accept the invite.

That's probably how it will be.

All of us 360 owners are going to die. We have to move while playing a game! It's almost as bad as the Wii!

Won't be getting BF3, the only shooter I'm anticipating is the new counter strike. I dislike cover based combat.

What? I haven't heard anything about Battlefield 3 being cover based. If anything they are boasting that all "cover" can be blown away in BF3.
For one thing, Tiff is not on any level what I would call a typical American.  She's not what I would consider a typical person.  I don't know any other genius geneticist anime-fan martial artist marksman model-level beauties, do you?

Hasn't that been the thing ever since Battlefield Bad Company 1?

Those don't count. Haha, well they do count, but BF3 is going to be more like BF2 in the sense that it will be more realistic in SP. MP side has always remained the same though. BTW, no battlefield has had a "cover" system. It's smart to use cover, because it is completely unrealistic to run and gun... That will get you shot easily by anyone with 10 minutes of experience in any Battlefield game. :P

Still, I think we agree that there is no "press a button to lean next to a wall" system here.

God no, that would ruin it completely. It would be just like Battlefield: GTA. Lol

EDIT:

New Battlefield theme song for BF3

Hint: Listen until 0:45 and you'll cream yourself if you've been a Battlefield fan since 1942. :P

is this really the theme song or a fan made one? Sounds like a fan made one.

Fan made... the official one is kinda lame.

I have yet to see a game "realistically" portray ground warfare or the effects of being shot, shooting, explosions and the like. Because real gunfights aren't all that interesting, at the very least not from a visual standpoint.

Having said that, the unrealistic games you mentioned are precisely the type of games I like.

I'm going to say that I disagree with you... realistic gunfights (where you try to use cover, get an angle on the tango, and then shoot) is more fun than just running AIM DOWN SIGHTS, SHOOT, SHOOT, SHOOT til their dead. That kinda redefines what arcady gameplay is. Battlefield aims for the other end of the spectrum. Most fans of Battlefield since 1942 think that the "Battlefield" formula worked well back than and it works today. If you like unrealistic shooters, congrats... Modern Warfare 3 is the game for you then (because you will die a lot in BF3 if you bring that attitude to an online match).

Btw, who saw the new teaser trailer? It's freakin awesome!
