Now our forum and tracker emotes are pretty boring. This thread brings screenshots from anime or scans from manga that make the best emotes for almost any situation. If there is one that people will like then we will try to make it viral on BBT by using it where possible. Don't overuse it though just to get it out there. Use it correctly and wisely.

Putting it here are many of the emotes are quite laughable rather than a lounge topic etc.

Just a few notes:
- Don't spam images please. Post them only if you think they are good enough to be used. If its popular among people here then I will add it to this post so its easier to find the link.
- Resize down a little for easy posting. They will be resized to final size when they are accepted.
- Please use .JPG and please don't make it max quality. These are meant for quick use where possible so we shouldn't be having to load 300KB images. Think 100KB or less but allowed to go over if needed. Not that you ever should with a 200px high screenshot.

If there is enough of a following and a good quality in the ones that we do get I will look into making censored words for them on the forum for easy use. Something like, '!BBTemote meanie', etc. but that means good images people and its only a maybe. Nothing set in stone but just the possiblities.

I'm all for this but I find the size still a tad too big. Maybe limit the width as well?

I doubt many can read the 150px. We could say no subs though and reduce it to 150px.

150 px becomes too small to properly display the emo, 200 is okay, but that's also small on a 1080p screen, 250 px is just ok. We can run it for a while and later decide again perhaps?

Catering for everyone's screens is the main problem. Make it too small and its too hard to get in detail especially on large screens. Too large and it becomes overpowering and annoying.

I personally run a 1680x1050 screen as my main however I run a sidebar for all my feeds etc so its closer to that of a 1280x1048 screen incase anyone is wanting to cry, 'you using huge screen! feel bad for us small screeners!' yada yada yada.

I know, right now the I am using my friends lappy which uses 1920x1080 as default. I changed the res to get the general idea. Even at 800x600 the 150px looks small, though 200px is ok and 250px isn't that large either. At 1280x720 again 150px is small, 200 acceptable but not that good, and 250px looks perfect.

That's all for the tests, and I don't think anyone's still at 800x600, at most minimum is 1280x720 for many people.

We could perhaps consider cutting off the edges of the screenies? That way the width could be cut down some without affecting the text.
