Nope, you'll get a "proof of purchase" hat, I did :) And all you have to do to upgrade to a Premium account is to buy one item from the Mann. Co store.

I've owned this since launch day but never got around to playing it properly, dripped about 15 hours into it in total in, what, 4 years? 5 of those have been this week though :D

I have the Orangebox 3 years ago with TF2.. Although I stopped since the scout update... My favorite class is obviously the spy.... hahaha... Also perhaps the sniper... I am a sniper pro FTW...!!

Been playing it from 2007. Addictive game. Now that is F2P i hope more players would come in and Valve to keep updating.
