MPC with windows 7?
Xtras:
Pros of Shark: All the codecs and splitters in CCCP and then some more all in one control panel; x64 components (usually not needed though); regular updates which always give you the newest versions of Haali and FFDShow etc. ; Clean installer and uninstaller
Pros of CCCP: Noob friendly; Comes with MPC configured to use the codecs.
That said you need the hardware first to make it work. Post the computer specs and we can advise further.
madVR usually takes even more processing power than EVR or Haali. It helps in making poor quality video look a little better when you are stretching it out to full screen, but isn't necessary if you have good quality files or don't really care too much about really fine details. I'd say it really isn't necessary for 99% of people.

It's more likely that you're just running out of decoding power.
--- Quote ---Several of you mentioned madVR. Is it worth d.loading and getting that going or will that not run either? Im guessing if it wouldn't run in 1080p properly with EVR, then mad VR is out?

MadVR is slower than EVR.

got two rigs to put it on.
Celeron E3300 @ 3.4Ghz
GT240 512MB GDDR5 @ stocks
2GB DDR2 800 @ 920(bah limited multi)
i3-2100
HD6670 1GB GDDR5
2x4GB DDR3 1600
anyway, currently using CCCP+CoreAVC some tweaks with the sharpen and blurs and other settings is all i've done so far =P
PS: should i sell my Athlon II X4? the i3-2100 is pretty much my main rig now =P

hmm thnx i'll check with my father and find what the pc's specs are. I am a noob with codecs so thats a big plus for CCCP. MadVR might be nice but it sounds like it takes more power for sure, so if i cant run 1080p right with EVR i probably wont be able to with MadVR. Too bad, im sure it would look better with MadVR on that 130" screen
