Subtitles on mobile Phones ( Vivaz Ui5)
« on: June 24, 2011, 08:50:45 AM »
So i got a Vivaz Ui5 or whatever its called as a present for my first job... and it worked great for me so far. it supports videos that are dvd quality but the one thing that bugs me it is that it doesnt support subtitles unless they are embedded in the video itself. Ive looked for a couple of players but none have that option ( video players that work on my phone, maybe iphone and android work). So i looked for software to convert the video itself, but had little success. While i found it it doesn't seem to work on my PC ( Windows 7 Proff btw). Im hopping some of you can help me with that issue because it would be neat to watch my fav anime on the bus ride to work and actually know what they are talking about...

You can forget about softsubs on the phone. Even dedicated PMPs can only do simple text softsub. Your puny Symbian phone has neither the hardware nor the software for that.

Download hardsubbed encodes instead.
All you have to do is study it out. Just study it out.
