Lurked in box in the old days, but was a veteran of sorts for forums by the time I officially joined. (approx years after I lurked the box forums). I actually toyed around in an area known as "thewirdsdomain". Don't really remember how I got there. I think I followed a link from fansubs or something.

That's probably where I learned the most about an internet persona.

My true failings were at hongfire. Trying to quell arguments of PS3>XBOX360 and vice versa. Doesn't matter if you're trying to be objective. Idiots are idiots.

To quote psyren, "Never underestimate drunk idiots in large numbers" (Or psychiclord if you knew further back)

spamming agent to hell with kawaii speak with moni.

Gathering 60-70% of all posts between 3 posters during the forum shift and having a good 60% of all those posts wiped out by a mod by the name of indy-muadib. Being nicked as part of the axis of spam, and being noted by admin as being "flood posters". The post timer is actually not due to our actions, but by another idiot (Probably the same type of moron(s) that did the DDOS of the bkbt website in the past).

Summary:

1. Getting into arguments I could have easily avoided in hongfire forums
2. Small forum stuff. Nothing super noob. (Newb maybe)
3. Uber spam in box transition (post gil). Going on hiatus due to annoyance of post purge by mod.

I seriously didn't need to always use GIYF. I personally used Altavista for a long time prior to that and it was the first thing I'd usually do if I didn't know something because it was the fastest way to get an answer. (Remember the mp3 search function anyone?)

When I was a noob here i was very careful about trying not to do anything stupid, used my common sense, found the search bar and asked for advice when needed. And after awhile I got acclimated I found the community here to be quite the fun and enjoyable one. The only place I ever really got into some silly fights is on the politics boards when I first entered. Outside of that I have really enjoyedthe community here. Unfortunately now I have been promoted a good bit and I am now in a relationship I don't have the time I once had to post daily here. But it is nice to see after 2 and 1/2 years later, the same people are around.
I have typed these words and you have been forced to read them.  Now you can go cry in the corner if you like :)

"These are community forums, not your own personal instant messenger".

Yeah, even after all this time... Fuck you Indy.

We used to fill up 20-30 pages of the general chit chat thread per day. Posts nearly every 2-5 seconds.

Ah good times... :)

Have you guys ever went through being a noob?

Probably. Probably still am, considering how fast the lingo on the internet changes and I cannot keep up with it. Sometimes I feel like an old man who just came on to the internet and is bewildered by the strange expressions used by the "pros".

No1 ever told me to read the manual or to search in google. I always preferred quick answers, and to find quick answers, a quick google search or a wiki browse is a good idea. And I do ask many questions just... They are so complete or they are not in the manual, so ppl just come to my rescue (if they know the answer). I program, and I program a lot. Because if that I have many doubts about how to solve some problems that I don't know how to solve. All questions about that never had the usual answer to RTFM or anything like that. To tell you the truth. I'm using that constantly almost every day 'cause noobs just don't search!

Hmm. Interesting. Well next time you leave a comment on one of my h-manga offers asking "where the small breasts can be found" and "which girls have them" I'll ask you to Google it instead. LOL  ;)
And even though we feel dead inside, we can still say, "At least we tried."

That's one of my usually forgotten fails (fortunately, happened only 3 times yet)... I have a very poor eye to find stuff that is not moving. Manga doesn't have moving images, so... I read it all (it the contents are bad I have no patience for that) or I may try scanning the pages (usually followed by a failed finding)... Also, If I try to find that kind of info using google (or any other search provider) I suppose that I wouldn't find an answer to that (there could be "unknown to me" exceptions, though). so... it goes to this category:
They are so complete or they are not in the manual
So... Yep.

Anyway

I usually ask for normal sized breasts (as there is no tag for it).

I ,also, am new here, but I'm pretty familiar with the forum style. I DEFINITELY used to be a noob and bump all the crap in the world for no reason a few years back on different forums  ;D

^ No actually he got scammed by a dude posing to be a girl. And also, he was warned by friends that the girl was a dude, but he went ahead and gave her his money anyway.
