Lurked in box in the old days, but was a veteran of sorts for forums by the time I officially joined. (approx years after I lurked the box forums). I actually toyed around in an area known as "thewirdsdomain". Don't really remember how I got there. I think I followed a link from fansubs or something.
That's probably where I learned the most about an internet persona.
My true failings were at hongfire. Trying to quell arguments of PS3>XBOX360 and vice versa. Doesn't matter if you're trying to be objective. Idiots are idiots.
To quote psyren, "Never underestimate drunk idiots in large numbers" (Or psychiclord if you knew further back)
spamming agent to hell with kawaii speak with moni.
Gathering 60-70% of all posts between 3 posters during the forum shift and having a good 60% of all those posts wiped out by a mod by the name of indy-muadib. Being nicked as part of the axis of spam, and being noted by admin as being "flood posters". The post timer is actually not due to our actions, but by another idiot (Probably the same type of moron(s) that did the DDOS of the bkbt website in the past).
Summary:
1. Getting into arguments I could have easily avoided in hongfire forums
2. Small forum stuff. Nothing super noob. (Newb maybe)
3. Uber spam in box transition (post gil). Going on hiatus due to annoyance of post purge by mod.
I seriously didn't need to always use GIYF. I personally used Altavista for a long time prior to that and it was the first thing I'd usually do if I didn't know something because it was the fastest way to get an answer. (Remember the mp3 search function anyone?)
