Tablet for media consumption?

Os, resolution, screen aspect, screen quality, HDD space, external storage? Which of the newest tablets seem to be the best for viewing high quality, unconverted anime? Is 16 gigs enough for the galaxy tab even if it has great colour?
What is your opinion?

16gig? goodluck fitting in your "high quality, unconverted anime" which even has sizes of over 1gb per 10mins. full blue-ray copy even reaches 4gb per 10mins.
try a notebook, specially the bobcat E-350 based ones.

You realize that 720p stuff is still HD, right? DVD-quality is typically 480p or so, or even as high as 576p. BD-rips are usually encoded in 720p or 1080p.
But heck, a tablet's resolution probably doesn't even get that high.

My Cowon D3 can play 1080p. A tablet should have no problems.
