plus.google.com

I'm betting a good number of you managed to get invites and are live on the site. So, what do you think?

Likes? Dislikes? Facebook Killer? Future predictions?

I fail to see the reason Google has gone and done this...

I know that it has broken the google search. That black bar at the top of the site is uglier than Evander Holyfield's digested ear, and if you use the quick search in your browser and then choose another category you get 0 results and have to repeat the search.

Thing is though, Google is already in a lot of the services that Facebook wants to expand into or improve upon. Voice Chat, E-Mail, Video Streaming, Document Sharing etc.

I think if they really go all out, they could create a pretty good nexus to join together all of their individual services with the whole social sharing idea.

They've already got a much larger than expected number of users, not to mention nearly half of my friends on Facebook are talking/trying to get in to Google+.

Uglier I kinda agree. The second problem doesn't happen for me though? Which browser's quick search are you using?

You can connect your google+ Account to your Facebook Account...

All in all it looks nice, since you can add people to different circles and can change for everything who can see it...

As to will it stand versus Facebook? Don't know, but google always trys different things, and you never know if they really use it lateron, see google-wave...

And why should there be a lawsuit? Has FB a copyright on social networks...?

lol, newy is right. Myspace didn't sue Facebook.
Besides, Google+ is more phone based.

I think this may just be a way to make future copyright acts justifiable, i see no reason why they're doing this.
