I am getting my own harem!

I don't get it. Are non christian parents supportive of their daughters being in harems?
Anyways, real harems are nothing new in the Muslim world, even today. And bragging should be done after it actually happens, not before when it didn't have much of chance in the first place. Who would have thought that their parents were part of the equation ::)

Or you could adjust the male to female birth rates favoring women. David Weber did this in his Honor Harrington series. A planet in the series called Grayson had like 2,000 years of this because of genetic issues. But, that would be very screwy things with population... to sustain society you'd have to pop out kids like crazy if only one in four or more was male.

True, but that is much more complicated compared to killing off males now and as they are foetuses/born. The genetic engineering required to make female sperm that much more common isn't possible yet, is it?

Not only it isn't possible, but in the case of those books it was a genetic mistake.
