I wish u luck Sem, I live with 2 other women, the fact is.. we get into needless and irrational arguments all the time. Mostly because one person is a leech and doesnt do their share. I think there needs to be testosterone to balance it out.

Do your part Sem (chores and what not) and it will be sweet, they will focus on the lazy daisy of the house. If they start making you do the man chores of the house then teach them how to do it themselves so they arent helpless delicate flowers.

Seriously though, there is some good advice in this thread.

Probably the single best piece of advice I can give you is...... be yourself.

Living with three girls is going to be...... interesting and that is probably an understatement.

You WILL see and find out things about women that guys don't normally get to experience.

you`ll need money to keep your gal, alot of it, you need to take her out to dates at least twice a month, you`ll need to treat her oftenly, if you fail to do this she wouldn't enjoy being with you and there goes your gal.

I haven't lived with a group of girls per se, but worked on many projects being the only guy. Holy shit must I say I have quelled a LOT of arguments.

The most ridiculous? One girl was late at her part, so we did it for her. No biggie.
I SPENT 2 DAYS QUELLING ARGUMENTS ABOUT TEAMWORK AND PROFESSIONALISM AND STOLEN BOYFRIENDS. (The girls didn't even know each other prior to the assignment, it was a super "random" analogy). It wasn't about "your part was late" or "thanks for doing my part".

Not quite the same, but some skills and focus points are the same.

1. Girls will at times fight each other for no apparent reason. Even if they are friends. You have no choice to determine if you are involved or not. You just are or aren't.
2. Girls will use guys as shields, as swords, as blankets, racks, tissues, as whatever tools they need. (Yes sem, you are not officially a tool for your home.)
3. Girls will either accept you, or not accept you. See following emotions to deal with: anger, loathing, sarcasm, demanding, torture, physical abuse, happy, excited(because they can get you to do something they don't want to), indifference etc.
4. DO NOT MAKE STEREOTYPICAL REMARKS. Cooking, cleaning, cleanliness, products, tampons/pads are NOT "generally" safe areas to discuss or joke at when at home. Especially cleanliness. You can/likely will be locked out of your home if you dare do such a thing.
5. Do not dare make acknowledgement to things that you should not be acknowledging. Be it PMS, ex-BFs, undergarments etc.
6. Sometimes it's better to just shut up and "not know". Rhetorical statements are abundant in girl lingo.

Semi stereotypic... but has kept me from a few scrapes here and there. Esp 6.

"Wait, why was the photocopier cute?" (Hours of ear cancer)
"That's the guy that ....XYZ right?" ("Yes, and if you ever be like him, I will make you sorry for being a guy")
"Sleeping around is ok, but not if you're in a relationship. If you ever did that to me, I'll track you down and cut off your penis." (Straight up in a monologue. It wasn't even a discussion)
"You understand that stuff too? Aww! Best friends forever....... wait, you had pocky and didn't share? Friends OFF!" (unopened box beside me that I hadn't offered yet)

All in all though. Girls are great. If you play your cards right, it'll be fun. But navigating the waters is like playing with stilts in a field of mines.
