Are some Apple PCs priceworthy?

I have had no reason to reply prior to that post. I posted what I wanted in the OP and people have argued both sides since then. Why should I respond when it is a an argument about screen quality? I don't know a lot about screen quality, which is why I am not responding...

I have brand aversion towards apple, I won't buy one even it is proven priceworthy.

Minor point, Apple PCs tend to resale at higher than their PC peers prices. Makes up for a part of the disparity in costs.

With the default keyboard and mouse there aren't even wires except the power cord, later this year even iOS devices can be sync wirelessly(officially anyway). Not some HAF 932 abomination with puke green CCFL.

The default keyboard and mice are terrible; who wants flat keys with virtually no tactile response or mouse with horrible tracking and uncomfortable?

Mind you can get a Lian Li A-05 for $80 instead of that horrible HAF case and it's very minimalistic and clean; your choice of black or silver.

I love it when people compare Macs to all the horrible ricer plastic cases that people tend to use when there's a wide variety of quality full aluminum cases for $80 and up.

Seriously? iMac? Never.

MBP or MB? Maybe. I'd try one out. Well, yeah, I'd be paying a premium on aesthetics and stuff and I wouldn't do anything special with it other than stuff I probably use my smart phone with, but it's not a bad thing to have in a laptop. I'm usually just doing basic stuff anyways. Consider it a spiffier and pricier netbook with more props to an image factor.

I'll add I'd buy a used MB or MBP for like 300-500 bucks to toy around with. After learning about it, maybe dump it to an individual who actually has no idea how to use a computer. (ie: My mom)

A mac is a great computer to give to a computard if you're not close around enough to do comp fixes and whatnot. You don't have to deal with as much shit like random programs on a computer installed, updates with names that confuse the fuck out of people, etc.

Even though it's a chiclet scissor-switch keyboard it's still vastly better than the common mushy rubber dome crap. But of course it's not a Cherry or *gasp* Topre keyboard.

Or a Silverstone TJ-07. The funny thing is a lot of people seem to prefer ghastly cases and think clean-looking ones are boring and dull, go figure.
btw PC-A05 is a bit too cramped. A normal mid tower or a full tower is much easier to work with, more space to hide cables too.

zat0x91:
Hey, I love my TJ-07 because I fit two triple 120mm radiators in the bottom and another dual 120mm on top if I wanted; I'm a watercooling freak.

Back to the A05:  It may look small and for only $80 you can fit a ton in there; I recall someone managed to fit a 6990 in there, but they couldn't get a DVD drive in.

People managed to use the prebuilt holes for wire management pretty well:
