Never expect Music, K-ON looked music but only has few songs.

I know, and after two season of K-ON disappointment, you'd think I had learned.
GoGeTa006:
I have no clue what to think of this show
Kyrdua:
I lol'd at the noticeable QUALITY every now and then. also, i realize this is not similar to IS but rather K-ON!
anyway, giving this a few more eps before dropping in favor of other shows.

You guys are expecting WAAAY too much from this, most likely because you're not thinking this through properly. Do you honestly believe that any singer or band gets famous in the wink of an eye, especially if they have no prior musical experience?
If you've watched any real-life 'talent shows' (like Idols and stuff like that), you should've known that in the (music) industry, people get judged by appearance first and actual (musical) talent second. IOW, you can have the most angelic voice there can be, but if you're as ugly as a doormat, good luck trying to find a record label that will want to contract you. So far, this show does a very good job at making that clear. Frankly, I don't think you should be expecting any music for at least a few more episodes, not until these girls learn that they should be themselves and use their good points to their advantage. Only then can they expect to get more auditions and actually get a chance to perform on stage.

TBH, as I did with K-ON (what a mistake that was), I was expecting this to be like BECK. Sure, they go from being nothing to being something by the end of the show, but in every episode there was at least one song played by either Koyuki or the band itself. That's how I thought idolmaster was going to go down. They start by being nothing, but at least one song is played in every episode. But it seems that Japan thinks BECK was a terrible idea and they should never do it again, when in reality it's all I pray Japan does now. Just give me another actual music anime.
