And this is why I don't compare one show to another that much, I'm less disappointed than if I were expecting something it's not.

The only reason I'm watching this is because of the massive hype that surrounds it, though I'm liking it so far.

If you try to take a show and compare it to another show, 99% of the time you end up disappointed. Fond memories of a show will overrule anything bad about the show I was thinking about, for me.

I like how the ending of Panty & Stocking had that sudden plot knife twist at the end where a main char dies off.

Now, how many moe-moe cutesy shows in the past years have had sudden twists where a main char dies off early in the series?
