how much is the average rent of 1bedroom dorm/apartment or something on other countries? here its no less than 200$ a month... theres a few @ 100$ a month but the space... ugh its practically a bed, a small table and a cabinet...

For a one bedroom, bath, living room/kitchen combo is around $600-$800 in Philadelphia ($600 for the shitty stuff, $800 for some mid range apartment).

yea 1 bedroom non studio apt in phlly goes from 500-1400(from shitholes to nicer areas over by chestnut hill area aka luxury apts) but if you earn any kind of money it makes much more sense to live outside of the city if you dont work in it. Since 4% income tax in philly sucks my dick

That's what I do... Not to mention I want to be as far away from New Jersey as possible.
JoonasTo:
21 cents seems to be the regular price here, philippines has little under 20, why should I care?
kitamesume:
it went well over 30 cents once, about a year ago.

Yea, thats about what it costs to live in or around the city here as well. unless you are in one of the high rises on Lake Michigan, then you are looking at about $1200 for a 1 room studio. However you mention living outside of the city-
I have a friend who lives up north in an area where there is basically nothing but a wallmart, a bar and a gas station. Thing is tho, he pays $600 a month for a 2 story + basement house with a sizable yard. Pretty sweet until you factor in that it is a shitty place to live (or atleast for someone like me who needs to be around stimuli)
Pharismo:
if i'm correct Brasil is expensiver.
