RO1 was pure grind. As soon as it became pay to play I stopped playing, it wasn't worth paying for.

Isn't that just par for the course in these type of games?
Not saying it doesn't suck, but I don't pick up a game like this without assuming that I will have to either grind or stay mid-low tier. Dont even talk about factions/reputations, lol.
Anyway, pic in OP kinda caught my attention as it is nearly identical to the LOTRO UI. (which is a game I just hit the grind levels for and am quickly losing interest.)

Don't know, I used to run around maps with a few mates from my guilds. Once you used to get a wizie, a priest and a hunter it'd pretty much end up as adhd as counter strike, so it never really felt like grinding to me.
I kind of liked that it'd encourage exploring maps teaming up and the like, instead of going get me 10 limbs from that guy in this map, now give me 10 from that one, now 10 from that one... ad infinitum or get to the min lvl to enter a raid, now raid with the only change being the dungeon every 5 or so levels.
Also, war of emperium used to be blast, can't think of anything else that even nears the amount of clusterfuck as having 3 guilds attack a castle while 3 guilds are defending one.

When you grind for-ever? I don't want to grind forever because "lol so awesome grinding still haven't hit max level!" to avoid end game content - like PvE/PvP (open world and instances) or farming and selling stuff or crafting/creating some sick equipment. It shouldn't take you more than two months to hit max level in all honesty if you play like 20ish hours a week. Leveling is great, grinding the shit out of things to gain that one level in a week is pure gay and a waste of time.

Well this certainly looks damn interesting.
