Friends vs acquaintance.

You actually have to put in effort with friends. You don't have to do shit all for acquaintances.

That's probably why you don't have friends you lone wolf.

I have some friends :3

My collection of friends is also kinda rare. The one true friend I had was in 10th grade. Its been almost 4 years since we have met each other but we still have that relationship when we meet online, unfortunately that also happens rarely.

Right now, I have two close ones, I don't know whether to classify them as reliable friends or not, one's a bit selfish but also useful, other is a bit more troublesome.

My french teacher actually made me realize the difference between a friend and a true friend. I'm one of those people that doesn't make a lot of friends, mostly because I'm not into doing all those activities that they like that require money. I'm not into going to bars, clubs or whatever.

However, I'm lucky to have made more than a few true friends that I've had since highschool; people that I trust and enjoy the company of. However, because of the hard financial times in the United States and some of the careers we're working towards, after I get out of college I may find that myself and some of them will be busy in other parts of the world (like one of my best friends that is a teacher in Japan now. Thanks to the internet, we've been talking and playing games together ever since he left 4 years ago. I'm glad it's not like people just disappear anymore, which has happened to two people I used to consider best friends in the past). We talk about it often though, and all of us have plans settle down here once we have the skills and experience to make it wherever.

Friends are awesome, being someone who's just been to the army for six months, I've got to praise them. What is homo in real life, was friendship at the barracks... errrr, still as long as the balls don't touch. I do enjoy a crapload of solitude myself, loneliness is another thing then
