Kokuriko-Zaka Kara - From Up On Poppy Hill

Konnichiwa

I'm going to be in Tokyo soon and will be checking out the new Ghibli.  Has anyone seen コクリコ坂から yet?  Is there much dialog?  My Japanese isn't great, and this one sounds pretty talky.  I'll just look at the pretty pictures.  :o

When can we expect this in a bluray rip?
Today is the day of its release.
I though last year, Arrietty had been out in a rip some days before its official release.

Just saw the movie, and it is really great. A touching story with a great atmosphere.
The animation and soundtrack are really good.

I really recommend watching this.  :)

Phew, I was worried since it was Goro and not Hayao who directed the movie. His last movie was little more than mediocre in my opinion.

Edit:
Okay, I have just seen 80 minutes of the movie, with about 10 minutes left...

Could you please confirm if my version will or will not be the case? I don't want any details of what happens at all, just a confirmation :]

I enjoyed the movie a lot ! I liked how they spend a lot of time to take you back to that period. Really liked the backgrounds and stuff especially the night city/town lights.

This was a brilliant film, definitely Studio Ghibli at their finest once again. Animation was great, story was sweet, and the characters were wonderfully done (I always love how they put so much effort into irrelevant side characters too). It really reminded me of Whisper of the Heart, which is their best film to date (IMO).
