50 minute games are horrible if you have a support hero. After 20 minutes there's nothing to do other than maybe push one lane for a bit :P

There is warding. Had a funny game where one of my team mates was support and bought 50! counter wards in order to find opponent wards. He finally found it in a place none in the team had ever seen a ward used to scout the water from (we lost the ward war big that game). I never get that much farm when I play support, I mostly try to avoid dying, screening carries and going along for ganks. True, you can have a 5 min period where there is nothing to do if both line-ups are passive, with aggressive ones the game never really gets slow for support due to the ganks. Then there are support heros and support heros, some are great at ganking as well, those are usually fun all game, like lina, lion, vengeful, rhasta.

As for tinker, that is a nice hero after you get BoT. If that can be stopped until the 20 min mark tinker is mostly harmless since other heroes are then capable of ganking him when he farms and he isn't doing 60% damage with one round of nukes.

Support heroes --> buy some disables --> a lot more useful in teamfights  ^^ Especially Rhasta and Lion. They got disables skills already + an item. Over 5sec disable. I think carry needs a bkb asap ^^

That is the issue, carries tend to get BKB, it is cheaper than most disabling items. :/

Overall the heroes are getting more even. Some are weaker, some stronger. Basically they are balancing it more all the time. There are of course some heroes that are just plain stronger than others. Heroes like Doombringer and Ancient Appariation are among the strongest right now, yet they are only like 10% stronger than the average heroes. As always it is more a matter of team and lane balance than any single hero strength. A lane with two agi melee heroes will almost always lose against two 600 range heroes.

It actually depends on the player using it... For me, Ancient Apparition isn't that tough, he is actually quite easy to beat... I mostly use Murloc Nightcrawler and I pwn using it...

AA isn't all that often a solo killer. His entire skillset is one of an assist ganker though, especially the ulti that can hit anywhere. Same as for Zeus/Spectre/Furion and to a lesser degree tinker. AA is simply very versatile, not that great of a solo killer, the entire team can't be solo killers (carries) though, no farm for it.

The global strat was and is fun, the entire point of it being that one person goes to gank and suddenly you have three heroes there and a fourth nuking from across the map. This isn't so popular after they nerfed Spectre.

nah...the heroes in the new map tend to attack opposite base than defend...

for example, 1st layer defense is destroy; old map - the heroes come to the destroyed tower to push...new map - 2nd layer of defense - the heroes come to the destroyed tower to push...

they(ai) move in group after a few levelup in new map

usually, i play single(me) vs 2 ai heroes...

SF has three nukes at various ranges. That and bonus damage for each kill/deny he does. Generally he is played solo mid or as a nuker/farmer on the safer side lane. Items usually are a couple of wraiths, maybe a magic wand. Travels and blink, both are core items, most often you want blink before travels. Travels to farm and blink to get in and do the ulti (some use lothar instead of blink, but that isn't as useful against good opponents). Manta style for the stats and illusions. Other than that adapt for the opponents, maybe a BKB is needed or ghost sceptre for the nuking, maybe MKB if they have a lot of evasion.

Play idea is farm a lot and gank using the 3 range nukes. You end up a carry due to the +60 damage, great nukes and - armour aura. The ulti is great, hard to use since you have to be very near your targets. SF + Dark Seer + ES is an awesome combo. DS drags them together, ES stuns and ultis, SF ultis.

Skillbuild: 2 1 1 2 1 2 1 2 ulti, aura/stats, ulti, stats/aura all the way and ulti lvl 16.

Itembuilds:
Start items: Normal stats items and reg.
Core: Bottle for rune control. (ALWAYS MID, or dont pick Nevermore). farm up til threads (travel if good farm), but I prefer buying a dagger instead ^^ BKB right after dagger. There are 97% you HAVE to buy bkb. Those 3% happen when enemies dont have any form for stun.
Luxury: Old school style: Desolator and butterfly.
New school style: S&Y, then split it for eye of skadi and manta. Then a DPS item. (butterfly, crit, monkey king bar etc.)

PS: At lvl 7. You can clean a creep wave using 1. spell X-range and C-range if I remember correctly. However, this works til 30min-ish. Farm well ^^

True, I forgot about the bottle. I so rarely play mid. :p

There are at least 3 other types of nevermore lanes that work.
Dual range heroes on side lane against a weak lane, examples are nevermore + warlock or nevermore + lion/lina. This happens occasionally at high level.
Tri lane with nevermore as designated farmer, nevermore has 3 nukes after all. Very rare lane since nevermore has no slow or stun.
Solo nevermore side lane against solo hero. Happens when opponent has a jungler, only works in certain hero combinations so is very rare. The majority of solo heroes can kill nevermore on side lanes since it is so far to the tower.

Don't forget to get some courier too for putting it near the spawn of the rune... So you may know from time to time where to get it. ;)

If you play nevermore mid you need your stat gaining and regen items from the start. Somebody from the side lane should get courier and another one should get wards.

I played in the sweetopia Philippine channel yesterday and there were a lot of MH users... Damn... The reason why I stopped playing there is because of those damn hackers and quitters... They use Maphack yet they still quit... :o ::)
