Warhammer 40.000 : Space Marine

Bought the game today (as an early Bday present to myself)... OMG the Bolter is fucking awesome. This game is pure win. The ultraviolence is stellar. Does it live up to Warhammer 40K? I think it is a great game, but purists may not like it for some reason or another... :P

Steam price: 49 Euro
Impulse converts the price into local currency: 272 Norwegian krone.
Google Conversion: 272 NOK in Euro = 36 Euro, that's 13 Euro cheaper.
This is a typical example of Steam's idiotic 1$ = 1€ conversion. Hell, I better check other retailers in case I can milk the currency rates for all it's worth.
Looking towards playing this game now that it is released.

Ace, I think you will definitely like this game. It's basically just killing the living shit out of everything... shooting, stabbing, sawing, and curb-stomping some motha'fuckin orcs. Ultramarines = Gods.

Actually on another forum I made excellent point in why it would make sense having other chapters saving the forgeworld like for example Iron Hands that have that "special" affiliation with Adeptus Mechanicus and the fact that a Forge World is not some feudal world that needs protection from Ultramarines since it is protected by Titan Legions: the most powerful land force in the Imperium...
However a guy made one point that beat all mine, do you know what it was? "Poster boys will be poster boys". And that is what ultramarines are: poster boys.
My game is almost downloaded, so I am sure I will enjoy it, even though the armor is too blue for my tastes ;D

I would prefer Blood Ravens personally, their war cries were awesome in DOW2. Ultramarienes are just ... meh, but the carnage is godlike XD
