how about Necrons and Sisters of Battle, those two are at war as well, wherever Necrons pop out, Sisters of battle soon follow to purge the undead. Aside from Soulstorm, I haven't seen anything about the Sisters of battle even though they are a great branch of Emperor's army.

What? No no no...
Sisters of battle are a militant arm of the church and are unofficial warriors of Ordo Hereticus, which is rooting dangers from within the Imperium. Do you know what that means? That means that most of the killings Sisters of Battle do, is humans who are not loyal to the Imperium and more importantly not loyal to the church (heretics).

The part of the Inquisition that specializes in Xeno Purge is Ordo Xenos and they employ Deathwatch, not Sisters of Battle. I have no idea from where you got the idea that Sisters of Battle hunt Necrons.

Actually the only race dedicated to hunting down Necrons is the Eldar, since they were created by the Old ones for one purpose only: to battle the Necrontyr. Hell, even in Dawn of War games you see Eldar appearing in campaign as a response to Necrons waking up.

There are also Tau that have't yet had much fun in games, I was hoping for at least the Tau empire to hit in DOW2 so I could play some in The Last Stand.
Meh, everyone knows that Tau was a lame attempt to market Warhammer 40K game in Japan and other Asian countries around it. Hence the reason why Tau have that mecha exosuits  ::)

Still waiting for the release over here....

Do the Black Templars work for the Inquisition?

No, they have their own crusade thing going on. Some of them may be in Deathwatch, mainly because Deathwatch is taking in Space Marines from all chapters.

Cyrus said once that Deathwatch battles pretty much everything they encounter, be it xenos or necrons or even heretics.

Still, I would love to play Sisters of Battle :)

Ok, can someone please tell me how to disable Voip in this game? It's getting annoying to have to mute all those faggots manually. They don't even have push to talk!

The creepiest thing is that nobody talks at all, so everything you hear is someone breething, chewing something or some lame music they are listening to. The chewing part is particularly annoying.

I sometimes put my headset on my dog as she is watching me play a game... the panting does creep people out. :P

It looks like devs are working an a mute all solution though. However I decided that I will abstain from the game for a week or two. Like with the Wither 2 game, it is best to wait until they patch it to a more playable state.

EDIT: I have no idea what they did to fuck this game up, but now I can't join any public game any more. I am just in the matchmaking screen forever. Well, not forever, as there are many people with that problem, one reported that the game crashes after 40 minutes of matchmaking trying to find a game  ;D

Must have been in the last 10 hours then. I was still ingame (multiplayer) around 5 am (O_o). Haven't tried again since then.

Aye, can't join on my end, although Steam is pissing me off lately, if it wasn't complete idiots in DOW2 then there were people that had such lag that the game was a slide show, this time I didn't have much of that at least.

Maybe they are trying to address the issue with the VOiP

Actually people were whining that the matchmaker puts them onto one side a lot (chaos, to be more precise), so developers tried to make a small fix for that. Seems that whatever they did, broke the matchmaker completely and now a lot of people can't play at all.

Also WTF with the matchmaker anyway? Can't we get a list of all games and join them manually?

From a coding perspective, it would be easier to make a good old fashioned in-game list of all public games, than code a matchmaker that does it for you.

If anything they were lazy with the pc porting (I can imagine a matchmaker is more necessary on the consoles)

Maybe they just want to be more random, but that doesn't seem to work right.

Started a new game and decided to add to the challenge and using only melee and pistols, and an occasional grenade on Nobs :)

Matchmaking is actually a nice feature. As long as they keep both options open there is no problem with it. Especially if you get a ranking from it. Which will lead to even games.

Damn Hammer is awesum for hitting them nails :D
Too bad it's limiting weaponry.

The first time I saw the Lascannon though I was like "WUT???"
I remember Avitus was barely moving with that shit on, but it does pack a punch.

Anyone else kinda disappointed with some design of weapons ? Personally I only use the melee weapons and the pistols cuz it's the most fun and best designed combat in the game. Relic did deliver an awesome game, but those big heavy guns don't even feel like heavy guns.

Plasma Canon, Heavy Bolter, Lascanon. They look like your typical Bolter gun that was remodeled and is only slowing you down a notch. Not even a backpack to generate the power for the Lascanon or the Plasma canon and where does the infinite ammo comes from Heavy Bolter gun ?

What? Heavy bolter shoots about 3 rounds per second while you move and only if you brace (r) and become immobile can you shoot at the same rate of fire as for example Avitus.

None of the three weapons have unlimited ammo, you have to loot the ammo from the players you killed. Lascannon which translates as a sniper rifle in this game can only fire about 4 shots before you need to reload it. Chaos marines don't have the belt and backpack driven system because that is true to the canon. Chaos weaponry is about 10000 years outdated and thus have older patterns of heavy bolters that have big magazines instead of belts.
