Patlabor Movies [OZC] (720p/1080p, Dual-audio)

The 1080p encodes of Patlabor 1 & 2 as well as the 720p one of Patlabor WXIII would fill the void of dual-audio releases for the respective resolutions.

I'm not sure whether Patlabor WXIII is worth 1080p (given its vintage, probably not) or whether their 720p releases of the other films should replace the recently uploaded HACK-JOB encodes.

As with every other OZC request, we'll get to it when we have the means to. If anyone else wants to offer it earlier, sure thing.

Regarding this specific request, I can't guarantee I'll get to it earlier than the 20th. I'm jumping around countries sporadically between now and then. I'll talk to OZC though and see what we can do.

I feel kinda biased commenting on this considering I uploaded the HACK-JOB releases. But in my opinion HACK-JOB's 720p releases for movies 1 and 2 are better due the greater amount of detail they preserve and the fact that they don't contain blocking in dark scenes.

I've gotta get screencaps for Xtras (which I keep procrastinating on) so I'll see what I can do about that shortly.

As for the 720p encodes for 1 and 2, HACK-JOB's are undoubtedly better. 99% of the time, our 720p versions are just re-encodes of the 1080p encodes. They have never been a focus of mine, but enough people demanded them so we did them, and for better or for worse, re-encodes were the way we had to go. If I had more time and money, I could encode the 720p myself, but the lack of a system to encode them on and the need to encode 1080p stuff on my desktop kind of rules that out.

OZC, I for one have always been thankful to you for making 720ps of your releases. I don't mind the lower quality.
On a side note, I was just wondering when you'll be releasing more of Planetes.

Soon, had some issues come up with a few things that I had to deal with but I've been able to resume encoding, so I'm hoping to get back to releasing episodes in the next few days.

I see they aren't up yet. My speed's pretty slow so I can't get files that big and upload them. But if you can give me the torrent file and screenshots, I'll offer it for you.
