That's the mushrooms, dear.
I like most any pizza that is not sweetened ... so, low- or no- sugar sauce, no pineapple, etc. MEat is good when used in moderation, but I can't do sausage (it gives me horrible heartburn & the flavor is meh), and more exotic meat like bacon I don't do.
Although, I have used sautéed chicken and have tried both alligator and rattlesnake meat ... which was pretty good.
For ~15 years I had a huge ceramic pizza stone in my kitchen and would make my own on a regular basis. Lots of fresh garden herbs ... like fresh basil, thyme and garlic worked into the dough. Lots of fresh tomato, olives of many varieties, red onion (is best), various bell peppers, mushrooms of many sorts but portobello and shitake top my list.
When I like it hot, then habeñero peppers, the bright orange ones and lots of them.
When possible, I have also cooked my pizza on a grill using wood smoke such as apple or mesquite wood.
It's fun to experiment with different cheeses. The standard greasy pizza hut plastic never makes it onto my pizzas. Usually I use a combination of cheeses, selected to compliment whatever else is used. So, provolone, (sharp) cheddar, parmesan, feta and goat cheese are all options.
Some whole wheat flour, or even a bit of roasted corn meal, are always good amendments for the dough. Always and only use high quality virgin olive oil; it really brings out flavors and adds a bit of its own while being a supremely healthy ingredient.
Done right, pizza is one of the healthiest meals you can make.
Soryon:
Mushrooms and black olives with crushed red pepper on top. Perhaps some pepperoni, depending on where I am getting it. (I dont get store bought, I only eat take out/delivery or at the restaurant.)
I like pizza a lot, when its made right. I also only really like thin crust. No deep dish for me, thx.
Anyway, like most fatty foods, I try to eat it sparingly. Ive got enough unhealthy habits as it is, no need to add poor eating habits to the list.
Stsin:
I prefer thin crust too.
I can eat about all types and anytime, except for anchovies. Also prefer it without pineapples (my roommate's favorite).

Seen some exotic combinations from Japan, but this seems worth trying.

1. Chicken, extra cheese, oregano, tomato and spinach (on any base)
2. Ground beef, extra cheese, oregano, tomato and onion (on a thin base)
