I love the fact that castrating a cat is referred to as "fixing" it.  As if it were broken by having testicles.  Not that I specifically hate cats, I don't.  I just think that particular turn of phrase is hilarious.
It took an hour to write; I figured it'd take an hour to read.

Yea, it's a common term used.  Though this was a female cat and don't know much about 'fixing' them.  Well, my roommate didn't want to, and it was agonizing hearing her at my door.  She was unbelievably loud.

We got a cat and she loves to piss on our couches. If the couches don't satisfy her, she goes and pisses on other belongings of ours (cloth on ground, or the mattress, or whatever that's basically cushion or whatever). I'm pretty fed up with this cat. We have two bathrooms and both are consistently open through-out the whole day ... with the exception of someone using the bathroom. We have her own letter box, two separate ones - one in each bathroom. So earlier this morning, I decided to be aggressive and I put the cat in one of the bathrooms (the bigger bathroom) and locked her inside. The lights are on inside that bathroom. There's no soft or cushion materials inside that she could practically piss on besides the letter box.

I want to see if she's going to piss inside that letter box or somewhere else. We've already checked her for UTI and it came out negative. Any advice?
You gave a cat a litter box and hope the she will pee there? There's your problem. The cat doesn't know she should pee there. You should teach the cat.

In the past, we had 8 cats in the house, all trained to take a dump and pee on the toilet.

OT, I think Datora gave some pretty solid advice (ha, might even help me with my own cat, though she's a sweetheart that never does anything wrong except waking me up at 3 in the morning ;))

hah, that's cuuuttttteee.

No, it is not cute at all. When you have 6 hours to sleep before work and the little furball is waking you up, because she is hungry. NOT CUTE AT ALL!

Why would they do that to an animal, stripping it of all remaining dignity?

I refuse to accept that any animal that licks its own asshole possesses anything resembling dignity.
