Before I begin, I already know who my favorite character is going to be - Sena Airi. There's some cute girls in the anime, but I like her the most. Pictures below.

The interesting fact is that this series has its own English Wikipedia with a list of characters in their Visual Novels. Thou' it's pretty much similar to many other series out there - With Manglobe as the Animation Producers working along with Kawamura Toshie as the Chief Animation Director and Character Design, this anime will surely have nice animation, colors and background details. Seeing that Manglobe worked on amazing Anime that's been released over their period of their work career - Samurai Champloo (Original Work!), Egro Proxy (Animation Work, Original Work, Production), Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann (Work Assistance), Michiko to Hatchin (Original Work! Amazing fluid animation), Seiken no Blacksmith (Animation Work! Superb stuff! Loved it), Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai (Animation Work!), Break Blade (Animation Work Assistance), Deadman Wonderland (Animation Work!), Pandora Hearts (Work Assistance), and Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai II (Animation Work!). I have yet to see Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai series but I can tell the animation shouldn't be less of awesomeness. Either way, Manglobe's past creations is as it is - great quality from Original Works to Animation Works.

And that now takes us to Kawamura Toshie whom is the Chief Animation Director and Character Designer! His past works involve PreCure series (don't want to link this junk) and Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai series. Lastly is the new company (?) Palette with their first Original Work. Pretty interesting.

The story maybe generic, but knowing the Animation, Character Design and Direction being handled by pro creators could hold some value to it.

I'm only going to look forward to see Sena Airi!

After I saw that OP pic I was straightly wondering "Dam that Shingo is going to be mega Pimp for getting 14 girls" but after I watched closely there are actually 5 (OR 6..) girls IN TOTAL. (those Chibies confused me completely)

anyway. Where there is HAREM there is me too!

I agree... but the slow start was really refreshing... and the twist at the end! I didn't expect that!

Cliche in what way? I thought the first half of the episode was very unique... second half of the episode was like done in 6546518465246573543 other animes.

I'll be following this for a time at least.

Seems to me that most harem anime, except for Love Hina, don't start with the boy automatically being hated by all the girls. And here, our boy has a sister, who has made friends with the war leader of the opposition, so that should have some interesting dynamics.
It's all just variations on a theme, but to see if they do it so we want to watch more, well...

Second episode was pretty funny... A likely ending to one of the opening episodes of this show. All in all, I'll enjoy this one.

Am I the only one who lol'd when they read this description? Guy in a girls only environment...they hate males...there's "misunderstandings" the main char must remove.

If it said he went to that school with his weird, quirky male best friend it would take the cake for bad VN cliches.

Hmmm, if they had made this middle school instead of high school, it would have made more sense to have the lead girl be an emotional roller coaster. As is, I guess you have to call her a drama queen.

I like this so far except for the numerous cliches and the fact that it's a harem. I wish that there were more serious love stories coming out but oh well. I'll have to brave what men call "romance" for the time being..

This has scored big points with me through it's art style and character design. And I kinda like Shingo and Sakuno. I'm praying that there won't be a brocon development, but this has been a pretty cliche harem so far... Speaking of cliches I think it's kinda obvious that he's going to end up with our tsundere girl Sena. (I've only seen the first two so far and that's the vibe I'm getting)

I like Sana Inui the most so far, rooting for the underdog

But like I said I wouldn't be surprised if Sena ends up being the one he falls for.

Edit: after watching episode three earlier today my belief in Airi Sena being the "winner" (lmbo as I say that in my head, well I guess that's what you'd call the girl he ends up with in a harem story) was sadly intensified. It's seems to be continuing down a cliche story line...

Has anyone really noticed any uniqueness yet? I just can't see any real conflicts in the future besides maybe a bunch of jealous girls. It isn't slapstick either so I'm curious what direction this story will take. And it's only going to be 12 episodes long... hm..

Well I'll keep watching since it's a short series.
