Keep talking about 1.6 and even I'll be playing again sometime in the near future, nostalgia FTW, even though I was one of those who immediately jumped on the CS:S bandwagon.
I liked CS:S and played for some time... but I have ALWAYS played 1.6.... no I will not play with anyone here... it would get too competitive. 
pussy, im das terribad at 1.6 and css i couldnt help but jump and shoot since i was a mohaa and cod player. And got kicked off a team or two for knifing in matches
Hahahahahah... who in the world would kick you off the server for knifing? I find that HARD to believe (unless you were just knifing your own team). But dude, I always loved watching and being the last two players in a match and knifing out our differences. 
not kicked from servers, i primarily played FPS games competitively 2 of the teams i joined kicked me from the teams after in match game play i knifed people instead of shooting them.
this was when caleague was still around which is long gone.
For the cod games i played on cal, cevo, and ggl over the years with their being cash prizes in cevo, and sponsorship shit on some of the cod teams i was on.
I wasnt nearly as good at css/1.6 so i joined shitty teams that would let someone better then most pubs play for their team just cuz i was a smart player and able to kill shit without knowing most of the maps lol
