what i think, is that, the difference between a decent headset against a quality headset depends on individual people, plus the actual sound difference isn't that drastic compared to the price(decent headsets are at 40-80$ while quality headsets are at 100-400$ [lets skip the discounts and sales for now]).
sometimes you even hit a jackpot like i did, bought a 10$ worth headset and it was comparable to a 60$. sadly the 10$ broke after 14months of usage, maybe that was the cons, heh.
if you get used to your headsets enough, you`ll find it good, unless the headset itself is trash(sounding like a can, literally).
ps: if you got a blown eardrum, no need for a quality headset, a hearing-aid would be a better pick.
