Slagging

1) U.K. criticism: a series of insulting, mocking, or critical comments.

2) USA: To sleep with someone.

1) I took a right slagging over that haircut.
2) He's always slagging with his kid brother - it's disgusting.

This is from the Urban Dictionary.  It might not mean what OP meant.  Well, maybe number 2.

oddly enough, i have never heard slagging being used used like this, or at all... ever.

Well, maybe number 2.
If he meant number two, why would he be so pissed about it ???

*sigh*

So many attention seekers on this forum, poser trolls.
So many people that spend too much time on this forum.
You all love making assumptions about me.
Now I know why mods wanted to close my threads.
Too many idiots here creating pointless threads.
Making their job difficult.

Fixed that for you.  ::)

Me either, maybe he meant shagging.

Anyway, the OP is from the UK, "slagging someone off" just means talking shit about somebody behind there back...

I worked for a pipe and steel company for a couple of summers to earn tuition a looooong time ago.

Slagging was a matter of using a big metal bar to knock the slag off of the welds of freshly formed large-diameter steel pipe (like 48-inch diameter or so).

Okay, this was a little useless and off-topic so... I guess it just fits right in  :P ;D

Why won't the first meaning fit? If he believes he received "a series of insulting, mocking, or critical comments."

I go to play From Dust for an hour and I come back to a 4 page whine?
You should -all- be ashamed of yourselves.

Final warning. If you think I'm going to lock a topic after it's posted, even if it's just a tiny niggle, go write in general chit chat thread. No new topics allowed.
=_=

Also, Supai - No more posting for you, you're at 666.
